The Nature of Your School Room

Day 19 SOS Poetry Project

The Nature of Your School Room
By Barbara Brennan

You have created for yourself a school room, an environment perfectly suited for that learning.

The direction of you path is into your worst fear,
and that which you are most ashamed of.
That uncharted inner landscape
is what you have chosen to go through.

Gayle’s Reflection:

So simple; a few words to remind me that I had my hand in the sculpting of this life and designed many of the lessons within it. The choice I have is to welcome the lessons or resist them.

These lessons of fear and love are “perfectly suited” for me- just me. Learning to trust and surrender to the wisdom of the lessons is module one. It seems to never end as the darkness of the uncharted fears close in. I have learned to love and accept this nature of my school room.

Every time I successfully complete a lesson (so I think) inevitably a client will show up with the exact same lesson in progress. Sharing the wisdom gleaned from the experience helps the next person through the dark wilderness holding the flashlight I offered.

Even though the lessons may require years of study, trial and error, the miracle of the client presenting the same lesson makes all the effort, breakthroughs and knowledge gained worth all the pain of walking in the dark forest.

So go for it! Learn your lesson well. Share them with love for the expansion of consciousness.

Thank you Barbara, I love being in the classroom with you.
See you tomorrow,
Love Gayle

The Foundation of Your Fears

Day 18 SOS Poetry Project

The Foundation of Your Fears
By Barbara Brennan

If you have fears,
bring them forward.
If you have fears of inadequacy
or self-judgments,
because perhaps you are not going
as fast as others may be,
I suggest you drop those fears.

Enter, explore, discover, understand.
What is the foundation of such fears?
What are the dualities or self-judgments
that you carry?
And how do they relate to
your overall dualistic perception
of a world that you created divided
and separated?

Love and honor the self as you do others.
Surrender to your unique personal truth
that you have found,
based upon the sounding board
of all your life experiences.

Choose your actions well,
based upon this truth
and this exquisite, passionate longing
that you carry in your high heart.
Honor this truth within you.
Examine your judgment.
Examine such feelings of inadequacy and fear.

Celebrate who you are!

Gayle’s Reflection:

Encourage yourself to enter, explore, discover, understand the Self. Encounter the fears, inadequacies, self judgment that you push away from your own heart. Barbara is suggesting that you allow and feel these separated parts. Take time to figure out the places of fear and how they grew so large.

Remember it is just your fear of something past and is no longer present. Choose to bring the fear of the past into the present for your own reconciliation.

Choose to integrate the fears and judgments into your being as a part of you no longer pushed away and separate.

There is actually a practice you can do to welcome these harshly judged parts of the past Self.
As you witness, love, and honor these parts as your creative life experiences, collect and invite them back into the core of your being and into your heart.
It is just energy.
It is just emotion remembered.
Claim your feelings…all of them.
Bring them back to your core with acceptance, honor and gratitude for the lesson received.
It is a simple process to choose to carry your longings in your high heart.
Choosing love of self can be a foreign idea to some, but it is the foundation of who you are.

YOU ARE I AM LOVE ITSELF
Love yourself with all the trauma, suffering, betrayal, and abandonment.
Love yourself and include the victories, celebrations, and achievements.
Love yourself in every moment with each breath.

Start from home base…your physical body which brings life incarnate to you, to your family, and the world.
Build your LOVE home from the foundation of your physical body
– through your emotions and intellect.
Open your heart and soul to receive Who You Are!
Celebrate Who You Are as Barbara Brennan recommends.

Thank you Barbara, I love me now more than ever.
See you tomorrow
Love, Gayle.
